I’ve known Lindsay for years, she is one of the most genuinely nice people I’ve ever met. She’s also a phenomenal dancer.

I approached Lindsay about being will to model for me about a year and a half ago, and while back  in Portland this past June, we finally got our calendars synched.

With all of the crazy of moving, and juggling everything that that entails, it was wonderful to take the time to capture these.

Emma and I have known each other for the past four or so years, and met while we were both working downtown Portland, for companies we’ve both since moved on from, and have been friends ever since.

She and her groom-to-be hired me to be their wedding photographer (an event that I cannot wait to shoot!!!), and we started planning their engagement photo shoot.

Emma and Andrew fell in love in Portland, and spent countless hours while dating sitting above the city at the Vista Bridge, so of course, we incorporated that special place into their portraits.

These two are stunning together, and I am so excited for their wedding.

The Cliffs Notes version is that they are a group of creatives that focus on community over competition. Through the local Columbus chapter, I’ve made some amazing women who are fast becoming friends.

I had the opportunity to second shoot with Mariah Ellenwood, of Mariah about Ellenwood Photography, at a wedding this fall, and OH MAN was it one of the best wedding’s I’ve ever shot at. The light was phenomenal, getting to work with Mariah, a woman that I instantly clicked with, the bride and groom were super relaxed, everything was smooth and easy.

I’ve known Lauren and her family for oh, about 20 years. When Lauren asked me to photograph her wedding, I was thrilled.

She and Clark live up in Yakima, so not only did I get to shoot their wedding, I got to road trip up there as well. (By the way, road trips are right up there on my list of favorite things in this world)

Watching Lauren and Clark interact with each other, their family and their friends, was incredibly beautiful.

Emma + Andrew | Portland Wedding | Columbus Wedding Photographer

Emma and I have known each this cialistoday other for the past four or so years, and met while we were both working downtown Portland, for companies we’ve both since moved on from, and have been friends ever since.

Emma planned and put together the most exquisitely beautiful wedding I’ve photographed.

The day started out overcast, however the clouds cleared out to beautiful blue skies and sunshine in time for their riverside ceremony, including their black and tan unity ceremony. (How cool is that?!)

Emma’s Maggie Sottero gown was perfect, the lace delicate, and the cut was flawless. The soft green of the leaves and trees along the river walk provided a gorgeous backdrop, and their reception went off without a hitch.

They ended their reception with a sparkler exit into the rainy night, to drive off for the start of their new chapter together in the brides Camero.

Muey Tzeo, the owner of FLORALSHOP did the flowers, and they were absolutely STUNNING. (Check her work out here.)
