A Night of Chocolate | Cancer Support Community of Central Ohio | Columbus Lifestyle Photographer

Through a connection I made through the Rising Tide Society, I ended up working as the event photographer for Cancer Support Community of Central Ohio’s fundraising gala, A Night of Chocolate.  (Check them out here)

The gala was at the Hollywood Casino, in Columbus, and it was AMMMAZING.

The air smelled of rich cocoa, the glitter and the flash of the dresses, and the live jazz floating through and around the chatter of conversation and the clink of silverware.

I had a ball capturing the night, and getting to experience the casino for the website like this first time since moving to Ohio.

Yessenia and I met while I worked for one of the major banks. We clicked, it was one of those, ‘oh hey, there you are’ kind of friendships… right off the bat.

She’s a surrogate mama for W & D, two really amazing fellas viagrawithoutaprescriptionusa from New York, and she was willing to come model for me.

Simply put, she’s STUNNING. Pregnancy sure does look good on her.

When I moved out to Ohio I joined The Rising Tide Society, which if you’ve not heard about them, and you’re a creative, you HAVE. TO. check them out. (You can do so by clicking here)

The Cliffs Notes version is that they are a group of creatives that focus on community over competition. Through the local Columbus chapter, I’ve made some amazing women who are fast becoming friends.

I had the opportunity to second shoot with Mariah Ellenwood, of Mariah about Ellenwood Photography, at a wedding this fall, and OH MAN was it one of the best wedding’s I’ve ever shot at. The light was phenomenal, getting to work with Mariah, a woman that I instantly clicked with, the bride and groom were super relaxed, everything was smooth and easy.

I met Katie a few years ago, and adore this chick! She’s one of the sweetest most awesome people I know.

While I was in Portland this past week we got together for her adorable family’s fall photos.  There is no where quite like the hills of Washington County, especially in the early fall.

Amber, Chris, and Landon are about to become a family of four!

To celebrate their soon to be cialistoday.com – on this web expanding family, we met up at Cooper Mountain Nature Park to capture their adorable family and Amber’s seventh month baby bump.  Isn’t she STUNNING!?

Watching the three of them together was so much fun.

Chris and Landon are best buddies, and the way that Ambers boys look at her is breath taking. The love that they have for each other glows off of them.

 

 

Lauren + Clark | Yakima Wedding | Columbus Wedding Photographer

I’ve known Lauren and her family for oh, about 20 years. When Lauren asked me to photograph her wedding, I was thrilled.

She and Clark live up in Yakima, so not only did I get to shoot their wedding, I got to road trip up there as well. (By the way, road trips are right up there on my list of favorite things in this world)

The whole day was fantastic. Calm, loving, and peaceful. I have never been at cialistoday.com website like this a wedding, as a photographer or as a guest, that ran so smoothly.

Watching Lauren and Clark interact with each other, their family and their friends, was incredibly beautiful.

Lauren & Clark, I hope you have a wonderful honeymoon in Hawaii, and I can’t wait to get your gallery to you!

 

Emma + Andrew | Portland Wedding | Columbus Wedding Photographer

Emma and I have known each this cialistoday other for the past four or so years, and met while we were both working downtown Portland, for companies we’ve both since moved on from, and have been friends ever since.

Emma planned and put together the most exquisitely beautiful wedding I’ve photographed.

The day started out overcast, however the clouds cleared out to beautiful blue skies and sunshine in time for their riverside ceremony, including their black and tan unity ceremony. (How cool is that?!)

Emma’s Maggie Sottero gown was perfect, the lace delicate, and the cut was flawless. The soft green of the leaves and trees along the river walk provided a gorgeous backdrop, and their reception went off without a hitch.

They ended their reception with a sparkler exit into the rainy night, to drive off for the start of their new chapter together in the brides Camero.

Muey Tzeo, the owner of FLORALSHOP did the flowers, and they were absolutely STUNNING. (Check her work out here.)
